Funding is intended to assist early-career-stage and experienced cancer researchers from various fields. Eligible proposals may address any topic related to cancer cures, prevention, and early detection, prioritizing new approaches to be taken or new areas of investigation to be explored.

Grants to Texas nonprofit research institutions for projects to advance scientific knowledge about cancer in young people. Funding is intended to fill research gaps related to the detection, causes, treatment, prevention, and progression of cancer. Proposals must be related to cancer in children and adolescents.

Grants of up to $10,000 and grants of up to $20,000 to New Jersey synagogues and Jewish agencies for programs that serve older adults in eligible counties. Funding is intended for programs to promote social connections and improve the lives of local Jewish seniors and their families living in the following counties: Essex, Morris, Union, eastern Somerset, and Sussex.

Grants to Texas nonprofit organizations and research institutions for cancer clinical trials. Funding is intended for hypothesis-driven clinical studies in adults, children, and adolescents that involve patients prospectively enrolled in a clinical trial. Areas of interest include new or repurposed drugs, hormonal therapies, immune therapies, surgery, radiation therapy, stem cell transplantation, combinations of interventions, or therapeutic devices.

Grant to a Wisconsin entity to provide training, information, and technical assistance regarding specialized telecommunications tools. Funding is intended for training and assistance on equipment for people with disabilities who cannot access regular telephone networks.

Funding is intended for programs within the focus areas of direct action, community organization and mobilization, and healing justice. The Mobilize Power Fund is a rapid response fund that resources gender justice organizations to adapt or pivot their work when met with unanticipated, time-sensitive opportunities or threats to their movement-building work and organizing conditions.

Grants of up to $4,000 to North Carolina nonprofit organizations, schools, and government agencies for projects that benefit the community in eligible locations. Funding is for a wide range of community benefit activities, including arts, education, human services, health, nutrition, and youth development. Eligible activities benefit Moore County.

Grants of up to $50,000 to Missouri qualifying early-stage entrepreneurs for business development support. The goal of the funding program is to address funding gaps faced by entrepreneurs and accelerate the development of early-stage businesses. Focus areas include the following: biomedical and life sciences, healthcare technology and services, financial technology and services, software and data, energy, manufacturing, and supply chain and logistics. Eligible businesses are have a proprietary or protectable intellectual property.

Grants to Texas nonprofit organizations to support innovative studies on early-onset cancers. Funding is for projects that will advance knowledge about molecular pathobiology, risk factors, etiology, and potential treatments. Projects should have the potential for significant impact and should be managed by a single investigator or multiple investigators. For the purpose of this RFA, early-onset cancers refer to cancers developing in adults.

Grants to USA, Canada, and International nonprofit organizations, government agencies, hospitals, and institutions of higher education for studies related to diabetes. Funding is intended for research that will improve health outcomes for people living with Type 1 diabetes. Projects that hold a prospect for transformative breakthroughs that prevent, treat, or cure Type 1 diabetes will be given top priority.

Grants of up to $2,500 to USA qualifying researchers for research projects related to politics, diversity, and inclusion. Applicants must complete required registrations prior to applying. Focus areas include but are not limited to social and racial justice, gender and politics, and accessibility politics. Proposed research projects should be projects that are already progress. Eligible applicants are in the early career stage. First generation students/scholars and individuals from the following historically under-represented racial/ethnic groups are strongly encouraged to apply.

Opportunity for Missouri technology startups to participate in an investment program to facilitate business growth. Applicants are welcome from early-stage companies and entrepreneurs. Areas of focus include biomedical science, animal health, plant science, defense and homeland security, and applied engineering.

Grants of up to $75,000 to Minnesota nonprofit organizations for projects addressing health and community capacity building in eligible areas. Funding may be used to support existing programs that respond to the immediate needs of individuals, families, groups, or organizations. Beneficiaries of grantees must reside within SMIF’s 20-county region or Native nation (Prairie Island Indian Community): Earth, Fillmore, Le Sueur, Olmsted, Wabasha, Brown, Freeborn, Martin, Rice, Waseca, Dodge, Goodhue, Mower, Sibley, Watonwan, Faribault, Houston, Nicollet, Steele, and Winona.

Grants to Texas nonprofit organizations and research institutions for studies related to cancer systems biology. Funding will support approaches that combine systems biology and computational oncology to enhance current knowledge in the diagnosis, biology, etiology, treatment, progression, metastasis, and immunology of cancer.

Grants of up to $15,000 to Ontario media companies for projects and activities that help to develop business across the globe. Funding is primarily intended to promote market event attendance and specialized sales trips to foster corporate advancement and yield tangible commercial and market expansion outcomes. The proposed global market development plan must support the company’s content creation and exploitation activities. Primary activities supported include targeted sales trips and attendance at international market events.

Grants to Virginia nonprofit organizations, municipalities, tribes, and agencies for capital projects that enhance recreational trails and trail-related facilities for motorized and non-motorized recreational uses. Funding is intended for trail maintenance, amenity projects, and/or accessibility improvements to existing trails.

Grant to a New Jersey institution of higher education to develop programs to increase parent involvement with the education of students with disabilities. Applicants are advised to complete the required registrations in advance of the deadline. Funding is intended to focus on enhancing parent/caregiver’s engagement in the education of their students who are referred for or receiving special education services.
